Chloe Bevan

MChem Student
University of Leeds

Chloe is a final year Medicinal Chemistry (MChem) student at the University of Leeds. She previously completed a project under the supervision of Dr Martin McPhillie, carrying out the optimisation of a hit compound for the inhibition of human and plasmodial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) enzymes via the creation of a molecular library. Her current project, under the supervision of Dr Adam Clayton, is investigating the application of type III deep eutectic solvents (DESs) in chemoenzymatic cascade reactions to improve their efficiency and sustainability.
